Home Who it's for Pharmacies
Pharmacies
A pharmacy fridge holds vaccines and other temperature-sensitive products, which usually have to be kept between +2 and +8 °C. A separate reading and an alert let you know what happened while the pharmacy was closed.

What a second reading gives a pharmacy
- An alert outside opening hours. It reaches the phone of the pharmacy owner or the designated person.
- A history and reports. Efento Cloud schedules non-editable PDF reports showing the number and duration of threshold breaches.
- Optional calibration. The Efento certificate, at €29 excl. VAT, covers one point at 5 °C, in the middle of a fridge's usual range.
In his hearing before the French Senate on 21 October 2026, the director general of ANSSI, France's national cybersecurity agency, named pharmacies storing vaccines among the sectors where this equipment is found. Read the report by Public Sénat, the French Senate's news channel.

What we do not promise
The guidelines on good distribution practice apply to wholesale distribution and require, among other things, temperature mapping, tested alarms and traceable calibration. A sensor alone is not enough to meet them. Read the text.
Efento states that its platform meets GxP requirements and provides validation documents, but this does not replace your own validation.

Frequently asked questions
Which product for a vaccine fridge?
The Efento pack with the optional calibration certificate. Its external probe goes into the fridge and the device stays outside. The two-probe version monitors two fridges close together.
Does the reading replace my thermometer?
No. It adds to your equipment and changes nothing on the fridge.
What if the mobile network does not reach the pharmacy?
The sensor keeps its readings in memory, but the alert cannot go out without a network, so you need to check coverage on site. A paid on-site trial lets you do that before you commit.
