  • Alerts by SMS or call

Which pack sends what, and what goes through a portal or a subscription.

  • Freezer

Everything depends on the probe's measuring range and how it passes through the door seal.

When nobody is there

Four situations, and what a second reading changes in each.

  • Saturday night

The shop is closed and the cold room temperature is slowly rising. You receive an SMS or a call instead of finding out when you reopen.

  • A power cut

The cooling stops, and so does everything plugged in next to it. The ARES runs for about 24 hours on its battery, and the LoRaWAN gateway can keep working on the optional backup battery.

  • A door left ajar

Nothing has broken down, but the temperature is rising. You set the threshold and the delay so that a normal defrost cycle does not trigger an alert.

  • Doubts about your controller

The temperature shown by a connected controller goes through that controller. The second reading comes from a separate probe that does not depend on it.

This system monitors and alerts. It does not control the refrigeration and does not replace your installation's own probe. It does not by itself amount to HACCP, EN 12830 or GDP compliance: your control plan remains your own. An alert needs a mobile network or internet, power, and someone to receive it. Test it at installation.
